Tuesday Club

The Tuesday Club is a social club that is open to all and which meets monthly (on the third Tuesday) either for tea in St Joseph’s hall with a talk/entertainment or a trip to a place of interest.  We believe in the message of Jesus Christ and come together to share that love in community, companionship and support for all the Club’s members and friends whether they are Catholic, another faith or none.

Upcoming Meetings:
​Tues 21st Jan  2.30 to 4.30pm in St. Joseph's Hall
"Putting Faith into Fiction: The vocation of the Catholic Novelist"  A talk by Fiorella de Maria, parishioner, author and broadcaster.  Fiorella has written a number of books ranging from biographies of saints to historical and crime fiction.  There will be plenty of time for questions and she will bring some of her books to sell (cash and card accepted).
The talk will be followed by tea and homemade cakes at 3.30pm  A raffle will be held.  Suggested donation £3.00.

'The Catenian and Parish Pilgrimage to Medjugorje in Oct 2024'  An illustrated talk by Greg Melly.  Followed by tea and cakes.

The Life of Brookwood Cemetery
Kim Lowe, the Chairwoman of the Brookwood Cemetery Society will explain why and how the Cemetery came to be at Brookwood.  She will also give short biographies of some notable people buried in the grounds.

The Guildford Shakespeare Company;  A talk by co-founder and producer Sarah Gobran
Sarah will talk about the aims and activities of the Guildford Shakespeare Company from staging productions of great drama (most recently Pride and Prejudice) to education in the dramatic arts in schools.
