The Tuesday Club is a social club that is open to all and which meets monthly (on the third Tuesday) either for tea in St Joseph’s hall with a talk/entertainment or a trip to a place of interest. We believe in the message of Jesus Christ and come together to share that love in community, companionship and support for all the Club’s members and friends whether they are Catholic, another faith or none.
Programme of Meetings: Tuesday 17th May, 2.30-4.30pm in St Joseph's Hall Gentle Fitness Class led by Michele of 'Move it or Lose It' Followed by Tea and Cakes MIOLI provides a gentle but very effective exercise programme which includes the four cornerstones of healthy ageing namely flexibility, aerobic, balance and strength. It can be done standing, with chair support or sitting down as needed. All exercises are physio based and can be adapted to suit the individual so that everyone can work within their own range and ability. Done to appropriate music starting with a gentle warm up, it is a top to toe workout that benefits both body and mind, and which leaves the participant energised and refreshed. It is a great way to keep fit and good fun too! Tuesday 21st June, 2.30-4.30pm in St Joseph's Hall 'Is Fairtrade worth it?'
