Thursday Club

​The Thursday Club meet at St. Mary's Church hall, Rydes Hill, every Thursday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and we range in age from 60-95.  It is a very lively group which enjoys all sorts of entertainment from talks, luncheons, gentle keep fit exercises, films and much more. A varied programme of events.  We meet every Thursday throughout the year except during the month of August. Some members of the group attend St. Mary's Church which is part of the Catholic Parish of Guildford, but other members are from the local area who join to be part of our community, to make friends and have fun.  If you would like to join you will be assured of a very warm welcome.

2024 Programme

The photo shows the celebration we had for the Queen's Jubilee.  The lady in the hat and grey cardigan was Mary Long who recently died aged 98.  She was one of the most inspirational people you could ever wish to meet and she will be sadly missed. This photo will be a lovely way to keep her memory alive.
