According to the Canon Law of the Catholic Church, every parish must have a Finance Committee which is an essential element in any Catholic parish organisation. The Finance Committee of the Catholic Parish of Guildford consists of 8 members who assist the Parish Moderator with strategic planning, monitoring of incoming and outgoing of financial resources and other financial, health and safety and administrative issues. The Committee meets regularly every 2 months. Currently its members are

Financial Controller.
The CPG has a part-time financial Controller who is responsible for day to day processing of financial transactions and for preparing and distributing management financial reports for the CPG Finance Committee meetings. The accounts are prepared using the automated system Finance-Coordinator 2.51. as recommended by the Diocesan Finance Office. The accounts of the CPG form integral part of the accounts of the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton.
