Teams (Equipes Notre Dame)
A Catholic movement for married couples seeking to deepen their love of God, their partner and their family by prayer, scripture study and discussion. Small groups of married couples, together with a spiritual counsellor, meet monthly over a shared meal, to grow together and support each other in living out their Christian vocation. (Open to non- Catholics who share their aims). Marriage Encounter
A movement within the Catholic Church promoting growth and development in communication within couple relationships, and reaching out from couples to the whole Church. It is dedicated to the support and understanding of the sacraments of Matrimony & Holy Orders as sacramental relationships. It involves a weekend experience after which there is the option of joining a local group for continuing support. Mixed marriage and non-Catholic couples welcomed. “The Marriage Course”
Taking part in this seven week course is a great way of enriching a relationship. A strong, loving and lifelong relationship doesn’t happen by chance. It takes effort and dedication to keep the fun and romance alive. We can all learn how to make even the happiest marriage better. The Marriage Course is seven evening sessions designed to help any married couple strengthen their relationship. Starts with refreshments, followed by video input & discussion between each couple. There is no group sharing. The parish will be running this course in May / June this year. If you and your spouse would be interested in attending there will be a sign-up for this in March on the Parish website. Couples for Christ (CFC) is a RC movement intended for the renewal and strengthening of Christian family life. The members have committed themselves to the Lord and to one another so that they may grow in maturity as men and women of God and fulfil their primary vocation of raising up families under the lordship of Jesus Christ and for the service of the Kingdom of God.
