Session 1 - Who is God?

God’s love is the central message of Christianity and the source of our faith. God loves you and your child. We need to understand God’s love if we are to make sense of anything else the Catholic Church professes.

*Don’t forget to look at the Parable of Prodigal Son and the painting of “the Light of World” with your child at home.

*At the end of the month, it would be great if your child understands that God loves us so much that he sent his Son to show us just how much he loves us. And that God’s love is never forced - Jesus is waiting at the door for us to open ourselves to him.
